Technical Assistance for Rural Development
Technical Assistance for Rural Development (TARD) initiated its operation in 1981 with a view to assist non-government and government agencies through technical assistance services namely, training, review and evaluation, socio-economic studies, program development and management for developing qualitative programs aimed at benefiting the poor. Along with these services, TARD has been implementing different projects for the benefit of disadvantaged and underserved people. It is important to mention that TARD believes that people are the architects of their own history and people’s participation creates people’s initiative to assert themselves as the subject of the history. Therefore, people are at the center of all our development activities. Considering the priority of the people, TARD has formulated its vision, mission, goal, objectives, programs and working strategies.
